OmkaraHostel app for iPhone and iPad

The application is developed for the students and parents of Omkara Hostel. It enables students to view their attendance and also apply for leave. Students can also raise housekeeping or maintenance related complaints. There is a provision to track the complaints raised with a filter or open or closed complaints. Students can view the canteen menu for the current month and would also be able to skip meal for any particular day. Students can also view the policies they signed during the registration for admission. Parents can view attendance of their child and respond to leave requests raised – they can either approve or reject the leave requests. Parents can read notifications sent by the Hostel Management. Parent user can also view the canteen menu of Omkara Hostel for the month. The application is intended to bring transparency in the Omkara administration giving the complete visibility of the operations to both student as well as parent user.
